The LD Systems BM1 Boundary Microphone is a premium electret condenser microphone with a hemispherical pickup pattern, perfectly suited for use on stage as well as in the studio. It has been specifically designed for precise sound capture of pianos and grand pianos, and offers versatile applications in conference technology, roundtable discussions, and theatrical performances.

With an impressive frequency response of 50 to 20,000 Hz, the BM1 captures a wide range of sounds, ensuring clear and natural audio reproduction. The nominal impedance of 250 ohms and a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB (1% THD @ 1 kHz) guarantee outstanding performance even in loud environments. The microphone requires a 48 V phantom power supply and is equipped with a 3-pin XLR connector, facilitating integration into existing systems.
